Once again, welcome to Dawson Elementary. Let’s make this school year an amazing journey of growth and learning!

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a national program designed as a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. At Dawson, we implement PBIS to create a positive school environment by promoting good behavior and recognizing students who exemplify our core values. Our program focuses on teaching and reinforcing expected behaviors, providing support for students who need it, and fostering a community where everyone can thrive. Through PBIS, we strive to build a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
