If you or your child have concerns at school, addressing them is crucial. Whether it’s conflicts with friends or other issues, reporting concerns is essential. For upper elementary students, learning how to make these reports not only helps with conflict resolution but also ensures they know their available resources as they transition to middle school.
Did you know that many middle school students avoid reporting conflicts? Sometimes they lack the knowledge of how to handle these situations. By encouraging students to report issues, school staff can better utilize resources to support our students. If conflicts persist, staff members at APS can keep detailed records to help resolve ongoing issues. Given the large student population at each school, teaching your child how to contribute to a positive learning environment and utilize available resources is vital. APS offers various support services, so empowering your student to seek help when needed benefits everyone!
